Saturday Slow Lobo Run STILL ON

Who: Adobo Chickens who cross-dress as Wolves on the weekend
What: A long (8 mile), slow (11+ pace) run where we pretend to be a pack of wolves on the hunt
When: Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 9:30am
Where: Start at E90th Street, Engineer's Gate and run on the Bridle Path
Why: Because sometimes even chickens need to hunt
How: Left, right, left right, repeat as necessary

I know it's supposed to rain, but the run will happen nonetheless. The only change that may happen is that if the Bridle Path is too wet, I may run only on the road.

Keep in mind that I'm doing this run because it's on my half-marathon schedule. All distances and speeds welcome to join me. Just know that I'll be out there for about an 1hr30min. If you want to meet up for brunch, 11-11:30am East or West Side are both doable for me.

Also, you may be too hungover to join me because of our Adobo Anniversary Party and that would be a pretty good excuse. Still, I hope I can convince at least one of you to join me. Nothing sadder than a wet chicken in a wolf costume running through the mud all by himself.

pretty much. running in the rain I love; the whole walking around in wet clothes for an hour on my way home isn't too appealing to me.

I totally understand the whole "walking around in wet clothes for an hour on my way home" thing.
So you guys are always welcome to camp out and shower at my place anytime you want to run in Central Park.

Sorry I didn't run with you. I ran later from South St Seaport to West 89th.

Easily the worst conditions I've ever ran in.

Warren met me this morning and thank goodness he did. We ran on the muddy bridle path and, I have to say, the first 4-5 miles were great. Near the end the winds picked up and it got nasty.

Thanks to Warren and Jud for making my run possible today. It's so much easier to do an eight mile run with some support.
